Notes: To the right hand side of the church is the statue of Pronya Prokopovna and Svirid Golohvastov.

 
4. Saint Sofia's Cathedral.
Location: 24 Vladimirskaya street. Built: 1037
5. Saint Vladimirs Cathedral.

 

Built: 1862-1896.     Location: 20, Taras Shevchenko Boulevard.

Notes: The original design was made by Ivan Strom and the building was begun by Alexander Beretti and Paul Sparro. It was finished by Vladimir Nikolayev. The construction and interior took more than 30 years to complete. It has three aisles and seven domes. Universitet Metro Station is situated a few miniutes walk away.
