A winding hill street
that links the lower city of Podil, to the upper city. There are many
market traders here, selling lots of different Ukrainian cultural goods
from painted egg shells to art.
Khreschatyk
is in the heart of the city. It has many underground shops. During the
weekends the street is closed to traffic, making it more free for
shoppers to relax and enjoy a free environment. At the north end it
adjoins European Square.
